Wetpixel’s perennial “Favourite” forum post is inviting the submission of your favourite image for 2014. The idea of the thread is to post your favourite image, which may not be your “best” one. The rule is to post one image each, but like most rules, this one is largely ignored.

More seriously, while many of us tend to use Facebook et al to post our images, the threads on the forum allow for permanent, long-lasting and searchable records of our images. They also benefit from not having the commercial ownership issues that are on Facebook and aren’s subjected to auto compression/sharpening and other adjustments.
