Inon announces domes for Olympus 8mm fisheye lens

Inon has announced that they are releasing two optical glass ports for the Olympus ED 8MM f1.8 Fisheye lens. The EPO1 is compatible with the E-M5 Mark II, E-PL7, E-PL6 and E-PL5 while the EP02 is for the E-M1 and E-M5 cameras. In all cases, the lenses are designed for use with the respective Olympus PT-EP housings. Both have multicoated inner surfaces.

Both the new dome ports are shipping from 21 October 2015.

Dome Port Olympus EP01 and EP02

INON INC. is pleased to announce official release of dedicated Dome Ports Olympus EP01 and EPO2 for Olympus SLR lens M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO (* 1) on October 21st, 2015 to use with E-M5, E-M1, E-M5 Mark II/PT-EP13, E-PL7/PT-EP12, E-PL6/PT-EP1 or E-PL5/PT-EP10 (* 1).

Features of Dome Port EP01

The Dome Port Olympus EP01is a dedicated dome port option to replace the pre-installed dome port of Olympus underwater housing PT-EP13 , PT-EP12 or PT-EP10 enabling to use Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO fisheye lens.

The Dome Port Olympus EP01 employs compact dome glass (diameter: 115mm) which is ideal for compact M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO. Multicoated optical glass suppresses flare and ghost. Packaged detachable resin protector is useful to block unnecessary light to get clear image in addition to prevent accidental damage on the lens surface.

To use M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO in manual focus mode, optional Olympus PPZR-EP05 Underwater Zoom Ring is required.

Please note that camera/housing manufacture has no concern with installation of this product as removing pre-installed dome port of PT-EP13 , PT-EP12 and PT-EP10 and installation of this product are not assumed by camera/housing manufacture. You have to take full responsibility for the installation of the Dome Port Olympus EP01 as removing original dome port from housing and installing/using this product may void warranty of the housing/camera/lens etc. INON Inc. cannot take any responsibility for any trouble/damage (damage to housing/camera/lens etc.) resulting from the installation.

The Dome Port Olympus EP02 is a dedicated dome port for Olympus underwater housing PT-EP11 , PT-EP08 to use Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO fisheye lens.

The Dome Port Olympus EP02 employs compact dome glass (diameter: 115mm) which is ideal for compact M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO . 　Multicoated optical glass suppresses flare and ghost. Attach Olympus POSR-EP10 UW Shading Ring on the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO to suppress exposure of built-in flash light on an image.

To use M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO in manual focus mode, optional Olympus｢PPZR-EP05 Underwater Zoom Ring｣is required.
