Inon announces underwater tripod system

Inon has released details of their new underwater tripod system. Designed to be modular, the tripod consists of a “Tripod Hub” that can have a variety of legs, ferrules, shoe mounts or the new “UW Pan head” attached to it. The latter is a specific 3-way ballhead specifically designed differ underwater use.

Highest configuration with the UW 3-Way Pan head being raised in its highest position by bundled Lower Elevator and combined Carbon Telescopic Arm L are fully extended.

UW3-Way Pan head Features

(3) The bundled Pan head Adapter Base is usable only when a housing is equipped with two tripod screw holes (1/4 in.) with center-to-center distance of 33~80mm/1.3~3.1in. on its bottom.

4) To install an underwater housing combined with INON Grip Base M1, the underwater housing has to have two tripod screw holes (1/4 in.) with center-to-center distance of either 33~40mm/1.3~1.6in. or 44~80mm/1.7~3.1in. on its bottom.
(*5) To install an underwater housing combined with INON System Base II (Main Base II), the underwater housing has to have two tripod screw holes (1/4 in.) with center-to-center distance of 47 ~80mm/1.9~3.1in. on its bottom.
