Sea&Sea has announced a new DX port specifically designed for the Canon EF-S 35mm Macro IS lens. It has a distance of 14.5mm between the end of the lens and the inner port glass. Although it has M67 external threads, external diopters cannot be used due to the ability of the lens to focus very close.

The new macro port has been designed exclusively for this lens and is the only port to accommodate it.

• Although the port has an M67 screw mount, no close-up lens can be used due to the lens’s very short close focusing distance.
