Free Online Shark Course returns

Cornell University and The University of Queensland have announced that they will be running their Sharks! Global Biodiversity, Biology, and Conservation online course again. The course starts on 25 July and is completely free, although it is possible to purchase an optional completion certificate for $49. It will run over a total of 4 weeks, with 4 to 6 hours required per week.

Cornell offers free shark biology course

Cornell University, in collaboration with the University of Queensland, are offering a free four week course on shark biology during Discovery’s Shark Week. Subjects covered include: Habitats and distributions of sharks from around the world, evolutionary history and relationships of sharks and allies, functional anatomy of swimming, breathing, and eating, aspects of sensory biology, reproduction, and behavior, and the ecological roles of sharks.
